MAGGIE BUCKO

Maggie Bucko grew up in Philadelphia, PA, where she received her training at Philadelphia Dance Theatre under the direction of Joy Capponi. She danced as a trainee with Sarasota Ballet in Florida and as a studio company member with Ballet Arizona under the direction of Ib Anderson. In 2022, Ms. Bucko joined Ballet Hartford as a principal dancer where she has danced originating roles in A Ceremony of Carols and Venus, choreographed by Ballet Hartford’s Artistic Director, Claire Krtezschmar. Ms. Bucko also performed in the new full-length narrative ballet, Raffaella, which premiered in South Bend, IN in 2024. Alongside her career as a professional ballet dancer, Ms. Bucko is a ballet teacher and a faculty member at the School of Ballet Hartford.
